I am a Central Michigan University senior graduating in May 2019 with a Bachelor's of Applied Arts in Fashion Merchandising and Design, and a minor in Visual Merchandising. My one true love has been and always will be fashion. Growing up, I found that by expressing who I was through my clothing, people could get to know me without me even having to say a word. When I learned to pick up a needle and thread, my dreams of creating unique clothing for myself and others became a reality. I lost and then found myself through what I created with these tools. Though I am young, I am capable of bringing my wildest creations to life with my sewing machine, fabric, and a pair of scissors. My favorite style decade is the 1960s, where I draw inspiration from the mod fashions of icons such as Twiggy and Mary Quant as well as the Pop Art of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. Additionally, I enjoy utilizing up-and-coming technology such as 3d printing and laser-cutting technology when fabricating the pieces I create.
